Draft Laws on Amendments to RA State Property Privatization and RA Tax Code Debated

At December 2 sitting moderated by Babken Tunyan, the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs debated in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA Tax Code and the enclosed package of draft laws jointly authored by the RA Government and the NA deputy Sofia Hovsepyan. As the RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan assured that the Government would continue to make efforts for the rise of efficiency of the activities of the regional administration, mitigating the territorial development disproportions, as well as ensuring the continuous procedure of the administrative-territorial reforms.  The MPs mainly voted for the legislative package, as well as approved the special order of debating it within 24 hours.

The draft law on Making Addendum to the Law on the Programme of the State Property Privatization for 2017-2020 was debated in the first reading.

The Committee members endorsed the debated items for being included in the draft law of the agenda of the fifth session of the seventh convocation of the National Assembly.

The Chair of the Standing Committee Babken Tunyan informed his colleagues that an immediate response-working group on economic issue s would be created in the near future. The main goal will be the urgent solution of the problems facing the businesspersons.
